Team USA Secures Two Olympic Medals in Women's Long Jump

**Team USA Claims Two Medals in Women’s Long Jump at the Olympics**

Team USA showcased its dominance in the women’s long jump, capturing both the gold and bronze medals. Tara Davis-Woodhall delivered a spectacular performance to secure her first-ever Olympic gold, while Jasmine Moore added to the U.S. medal haul with a bronze.

This marks Moore’s first Olympic medal in the long jump, following her historic bronze in the women’s triple jump, which was Team USA's inaugural medal in that event. The duo’s success continues the United States' tradition of excellence in track and field.

“Is this real? Am I dreaming?” Davis-Woodhall exclaimed after her victory. “Pinch me. I’m so stoked. I’ve gone through hell and back, faced everything you can imagine. When I found out that I was jumping at 8 p.m. on the 8th of August, I knew it was perfect."

Tara Davis-Woodhall, who is married to Paralympian Hunter Woodhall, has been candid about her struggles with mental health. Reflecting on her journey, she shared, "I refused to let anything bring me down. I focused on staying positive and motivated throughout the year. That determination turned into belief, which then became my reality, and now, I’m an Olympic gold medalist."

Jasmine Moore, who took home the bronze, was equally thrilled with her achievement. "I’m in disbelief. This is beyond what I imagined, but it’s even better," she said.

"After the triple jump, I wasn’t feeling my best, and the qualification round was tough. I felt exhausted the whole time, but my body improved day by day. I’m just so incredibly grateful and excited."
